    • Modular, lift-and-shift stack with an underlying ethos of decentralization that does not solely rely on any particular provider or technology.

  9. Cost Management:

    • Research and identification of free-tier and cost-effective solutions for third-party providers that will be used in Phase 1 and Phase 2.

    • Development of a cost management plan that outlines potential costs and strategies to keep expenses in check as the project scales.

Visual Design Cues and Functionality:

  • UI to incorporate elements similar to those found in ChatGPT and iMessage, or a similar SMS bubble-type interface.

  • Implementation of CSS templating, such as Tailwind or a similar framework, to achieve the visual style showcased on the QIO.info WordPress site.

Phase 2: Custom Bots, Knowledge Bases, and User Engagement

Objective: Introduce custom bots (similar to custom GPTs) with knowledge bases, integrate file uploads for RAG systems, and establish the foundation for multi-user bidirectional communication, including user logins, credentialing, and the potential for blockchain-based identities. Additionally, create a system for prompt-based bot building that is accessible to all users, similar to the ChatGPT App Store.

Requirements:

  1. Custom Bots and Knowledge Bases:

    • Integration of custom bots or knowledge bases tailored to specific use cases, similar to what Quora's Poe app offers.

    • System for creating, managing, and deploying these custom bots.

  2. File Uploads and RAG Integration:

    • Implementation of a file upload feature to support the integration of RAG systems like Pinecone.

    • Backend systems to process uploaded files and integrate them with the RAG system for enhanced AI responses.

  3. User Engagement and Bidirectional Communication:

    • Development of a system for multi-user bidirectional communication, allowing users to comment on or interact with AI-generated content, similar to a blog post or social media thread.

    • Creation of sub-threads or discussions within the main chat thread, enabling a community-driven interaction model.

  4. User Authentication and Credentialing:

    • Implementation of a user login system to manage user accounts and permissions.

    • Consideration of Single Sign-On (SSO) and Federated Identity solutions to streamline user authentication and provide a seamless user experience.

  5. Blockchain-Based Identities:

    • Exploration of using blockchain wallets as decentralized identifiers for user authentication.

    • Investigation into the integration of blockchain-based identities with the user login system, providing a secure and decentralized approach to user credentialing.

  6. Prompt-Based Bot Building:

    • Creation of a user-friendly interface for prompt-based bot building, similar to the ChatGPT App Store, allowing users to create custom GPTs or bots based on their prompts.

    • Democratization of bot creation, ensuring that authenticated users may have the ability to create and deploy their own custom GPTs, subject to appropriate permissions and moderation.

Phase 3: Blockchain Storage and SMS Interface

Objective: Transition data storage to a blockchain, introduce an SMS interface for simplified interaction, and leverage these technologies to enhance transparency and accessibility.

Requirements:

  1. Blockchain Storage:

    • Migration of data storage to a blockchain solution that supports smart contracts and decentralized applications (DApps).

    • Implementation of a transparent ledger system that records all interactions with the AI models, ensuring an immutable history of queries and responses.

    • Exploration of tokenomics to incentivize user participation and content creation, potentially using blockchain-based tokens or cryptocurrencies.

  2. SMS Interface:

    • Development of a robust SMS gateway that allows users to interact with the AI platform via text messages, expanding accessibility to users without internet access or smartphones.

    • Integration of the SMS interface with the blockchain storage system to ensure that all SMS interactions are recorded and can be audited for transparency.

    • Implementation of a robust feedback system that allows users to rate, review, and suggest improvements to AI models, leveraging the wisdom of crowds to refine and enhance the AI's performance.

    • Establishment of a transparent and collaborative environment where user feedback directly contributes to the iterative improvement of AI models, creating a dynamic and self-improving system.

  3. Network Effect and Data Utilization:

    • Establish a system for responsibly harnessing the data generated by user interactions to improve AI models, using privacy-forward methods such as differential privacy, federated learning, or secure multi-party computation.

    • Leverage the network effect to create a virtuous cycle where increased user engagement leads to more data, which in turn leads to better AI models, attracting more users and further enhancing the platform's capabilities.

    • Ensure transparency and user control over their data, allowing users to opt-in or opt-out of data collection and providing clear explanations of how their data is used to improve the platform.

Wisdom of Crowds and Collective Intelligence:

  • Utilize the feedback system to aggregate user insights and preferences, using this collective intelligence to guide the development and prioritization of AI model enhancements.

  • Encourage a culture of open collaboration and knowledge sharing, where users feel empowered to contribute to the platform's evolution and trust that their input is valued and acted upon.

  • Ensure that the feedback mechanism is designed to be inclusive and accessible, allowing users from diverse backgrounds and with varying levels of technical expertise to participate in the platform's growth.

Visionary Considerations

  • Democratization and Decentralization:

    • Foster a community-driven ecosystem where users can contribute to the development and refinement of AI models, ensuring that the platform remains open and accessible to all.

    • Utilize blockchain technology to create a decentralized governance model, where decisions about the platform's direction and policies are made collectively by the community.

  • Transparency and Ethical Access:

    • Implement open-source principles to allow for peer review and collaboration on AI model development, promoting transparency and ethical considerations.
